Year 1 Anatomy Course

From Summer 2008, the teaching will be focussed during the first sixth months of training, September until March, so as to prepare trainees for the new FRCR part I anatomy exam. The course is organised by Dr Paul McCoubrie (Southmead Hospital extension 6341)

The 2008/09 teaching will take place on Monday afternoons in the Radiology Department Seminar Room at BRI, in conjunction with the Physics Course.
Anatomy will comprise part of FRCR I from March 2010, for trainees starting in August 2009. For the August 2008 entry, the course will be run, but the FRCR I exam in March 2009 will only include Physics.

Successful peer teaching structured anatomy programme has run here in Bristol for a number of years. Trainees are formally assessed at the beginning and end of the anatomy course, the results of which are communicated to the head of training for annual assessment purposes.
