Welcome to the Severn School of Radiology website.

 
We have 45 Specialist Trainees in our Diagnostic Radiology Training Scheme, with up to 10 trainees joining us at ST1 level each August. Over their 5 years in the scheme they rotate through all the hospitals relating to the Severn Deanery in and around Bristol.

The background to the scheme is given in the menu options at the top of this page, and more detailed facts about our training and rotations are in the options on the left hand side.

Simon Davis will cover for the time being the roles and duties of the School Support Manager for the Postgraduate School of Radiology. These include the processing of study leave applications and dispersal of study leave funds, assessment coordination, website administration, general query management and ad hoc administration tasks.

Susan House is responsible for the recruitment and training selection of all Radiology trainees. She is required to keep records up to date ensuring all rotations are accurate. Susan's role is vital for the successful running of the Postgraduate School of Radiology and she should be contacted if any details of a trainees circumstances (i.e. address, phone number, CCT date change, OOPE) and the earliest time possible. Susan is also available on the phone to deal with any queries from both trainees and trainers.
